"Thanks". He walked over to the sink, grabbed a paper towel, put some tobacco in it, wetted it down, and pressed it against his neck.

He walked out to Maggie and petted her. After a while he threw away the paper towel. He got a sleeping bag out of his bag and slipped into the pen. He set it down in a hidden corner and crawled into it.
