It's almost Halloween 🎃 and time change 🕰️ again! While I really enjoy the cooler days of fall (hey, highs in low 90s after weeks of 100+ temps is a relief!) I despise the rapidly shortening days. 😠 Throw in the time shift and I am not a happy camper. 🤣

Since the dark dreary days are ahead, time to go get some winter flowers - violas, stocks, dianthus to brighten things up! Things are still blooming here though!

I hate sand!! People are always talking about how we live so close to the beach and we must go all the time. Nope! I don't like sand and I don't like crowds. I don't like whatever might be lurking in water I can't see through. Lol. The beach is gorgeous. And I admire it from a balcony of a condo that a family member owns.

I haven't been to Padre Island before. But I've been Houston, Galveston, Austin, and Brownsville. And crossed the border into Mexico many years ago into Ciudad Acuna, I believe it was called.
