Sometimes the feed can turn their legs green...I've had that happened a few times and as they got older, they turned slate. Not sure why but the ones I've got were hatchery stock and the green legs disappeared when they were a month old..We ordered an appenzeler spitzhauben and the chick we got is now 13 weeks old. She is not an AS, but she is white also with green legs. She has no muffs though. We can't figure out what she is either.
Hi, I have white pullet with green legs, they are almost olive colored. Can anyone tell me what breed she might be? I got her with a brown egg assortment that I ordered from Mcmurray. Thanks in advance.
Kris
I bought 10 light Brshmas and 10 EE and found out I got a extra chick but she has turned out white with green legs and peach colored spots on her chestQuote:
When I got my EE chicks, one was yellow. She's turned into a white pullet. I don't know if this holds true for all of them or not.
Your chick has muffs on it's face, so it is most likely an easter egger, they often have green legs.I bought 10 light Brshmas and 10 EE and found out I got a extra chick but she has turned out white with green legs and peach colored spots on her chest
Yeah I will definitely say Easter eggers come in a variety of colors cause mine are so pretty and then she just my oddballYour chick has muffs on it's face, so it is most likely an easter egger, they often have green legs. They come in many colors.
