Green liquid after vomiting hen

I made a post yesterday about our new hen having a crop issue. I’m new to chickens so was trying to figure out if it’s sour crop.

We have restricted food all day today. Just water with garlic and probiotic and electrolyte powder, as well giving some olive oil.

Tonight we tried to have her vomit again (I know this can be controversial) and green liquid came out with some grass pieces. Doesn’t smell good obviously, but not overly fermented.

Should we begin treating for sour crop with Monistat or wait to see if was just impacted?

How does her poop look? Only water/white urates or is there still brown/green fecal matter? The vomit of bile and grass makes me suspect she has an impaction. I'd continue giving oil and maybe try an epsom salt flush (get her to drink or syringe 1 teaspoon epsom salt dissolved in 1/2 cup warm water).

I'm sure @azygous has dealt with more crop issues than me and might have some suggestions. Here is the other post about this bird: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/sour-crop-impacted-crop-help.1579004/#post-26825576

Thank you both! Her crop never felt hard, it was soft and doughy. The liquid that came out had a slight smell, but not over fully powerful of yeast.

So far she hasn’t had a normal poop, just runny with little green clumps.

She ate a bit of scrambled eggs over the last few days, but she doesn’t gobble them down. I tried food soaked in kefir yesterday but she didn’t care for that either, so I mixed in a few mealworms and she picked those out.

This morning her crop seemed empty so I’m hoping she’s beginning to feel better.

Sometimes the gizzard can become impacted or there is some kind of intestinal blockage which will slow digestion and cause food to ferment resulting in sour or doughy crop, but an empty crop in the morning is a promising sign and the poop doesn't look too bad all things considered (chickens that aren't eating enough get green poop from bile). Hope she continues improving.

Thank you! We’re planning to keep her in the crate until she has a normal poop, but I’ve been letting her out with the other hens during the day. She’s starting to move her neck in weird positions again and opening her mouth like she’s gagging, so I’m hoping she didn’t eat something else out in the yard. I think she may just have to be crated until she’s feeling fully back to normal. I’ll keep you posted, thanks again for all of the help!
