Green Queens, & Egg color.

I did discover by accident if you use flash on a Turquoise egg, it shows up as Emerald green on camera.

You can see some of the true color on the left portion of the egg in the bottom picture.
 
It’s not turquoise though in real life, at least by my eyes. Looks like olive to me. At least there’s no doubt about the hen’s color from pictures :D
 
I have 3 green queens. They are all very different looking from each other.

This is Chipmunk and she lays brown eggs

And this is Tiffany, she is broody right now but she is the only one who lays blue green eggs

The first one, Chipmunk, also has feathered feet with two extra toes on each foot. It was certainly fun watching them grow, each looking so different from each other.
The splash is Snowy.

Yep, I read on Meyer's Hatchery that green Queens may have 5 toes, or feathered legs.
