Green stuff on new chick

First time ever on any forum, just joined today and I have a new hatched buff orphington
chick with green stuff all over it what should I do? Is it sick or have a bacteria of some
kind? Just started hatching eggs with a incubator.

is the green foamy? If it is one of your eggs in the incubator exploded because of bacteria in it and it's a mixture of rotten egg and bacteria so I would wipe the chick off with warm water and mild dish soap. Also I would wipe off any that's in the incubator as the chicks could peck at it when they hatch and ingest and get sick.

Chick poop is often green too. So I wouldn't worry to much about it, it
Probably pooped and then lost its balance. Though I would certainly clean it off.
