I planted 8 rows of Mirai sweet corn last evening. I am anxious to try it! 4 rows are yellow, 4 are bicolor. Has anyone tried the Mirai yet?

Hey ~ did you plant all 8 rows at one time? I learned from last year to plant 2 rows, wait 2 weeks, plant 2 rows, wait 2 weeks, etc., etc. Depends how long your rows are I guess. But when all the corn matures at one time - whoa! Talk about O.D.!

Sorry, no help on the Mirai - never heard of it ?!?!

I need to do a bunch for freezing, and it works best to do it all at the same time-for me! Mirai is supposed to keep very well, too, so we will see!
I will plant some a few weeks from now, too, but it won't be Mirai.

I'm off work today, so I drop in by Lowes and our local one, here in Jonesbourgh, TN, had all their blueberry bushes and grape vines at 1/2 of marked price.

I got a 3 year old Liberty Blue berry bush for just a little bit over $9.

All the way up here, just trying to hold my self back from diggin in the garden too early... waiting until the last chance for snow fall after the 21st of May! I hope!... then thats it there will be no holding back after that... all in and i cant wait!

- Happy Planting to Everyone!

I was going to transplant my cabbage from the grow lights to the outdoors because it has been so nice all spring and I couldn't hold back anymore.
Got too busy and didn't get it done last weekend.
We have had two hard freezes this week - the first since the beginning of April.

So, I still have cabbage to transplant.

Now to see if my snap peas made it.
