One of my coturnix quail dropped dead out of nowhere- perfect health, she was old, except I noticed green poop around the pen. The urate is green, I think, not the poop itself. Should I be worried about my other quail? What could cause this?

How old was she, maybe she just died of old age? I’m not an expert on these kinda things so sorry I can’t be of much help. P.S sorry about your quails death ❤️

I don't know much about quail but in chickens I've had green from simply eating too much grass. I've heard it can be a sign of dehydration. I wish I could be more of a help

Sorry for your loss 😔

Green poop can have many reasons.
Without a test of a vet, it is difficult to define.

Some bacterial infections are causing green poop, but these are most times green watery poop.

Also problems with gall bladder can cause green poop.

I hope your other quails are ok, so it wasn't infectious.
