Greenhouse to coop

I had smoked lexan on hand so used that. I think polycarb should work the same way if its the flat sheets.
Simple 1x4 framing and piano hinges.

This coop is 8x14 and has 11 windows.

Because of the vented soffits it does not heat up in winter or summer.

Ventilation is critical to keeping healthy birds.

I had a polycarbonate kit greenhouse in my old backyard. It had a roof vent and I would leave the door open. Even when outside temps were in the low 70's, inside temps would be around 140. . . That's with the door open and the roof vent open. Had to add a box fan and string an extension cord out to keep temps down. My peppers liked it better afterwards. They like it hot, but 140 is a bit high.
