greenish feathers

one of the ib peafowl are growing greenish blue feathers on its neck. can this be an indicator of rather it is male or female?

both male and female get them when they are young, males will molt and then start getting the blue neck feathers while the femals will stay green.
Post up a photo and tell us how old it is, mabe we can tell ya for sure.
