Hah. My friends all make fun of me and my chickens. Even my wife thinks I am crazy but she secretly loves the chickens. She just does not love having so many, lol. We too sit on rocking chairs and watch them in the summer to which end people refer to us as the not so old, old couple...30 and over the hill I guess.
 
Even the lawn guy thinks we are wierd. He couldn't understand why the chicken liked my wife and came to her to talk. Also they roost frequently on the rocking chair arms but only when we are sitting in them. I guess it isn't the 1950's and you don't need to send a young boy out to catch a chicken anymore. Sorry Opie you just became unemployed.
