I might seem like the wrong type of dude to end up on a chicken forum, but recently I thought there had to be more to things than going to work and hitting the town with the boys. I have almost no time on my hands to take care of a dog, horse, polar bear, etc. but one of my mates said he kept chickens as a kid and they just fed them or what twice a day.

I live in Atlanta, anyone else out there with chicken experience? thanks.

it's great to have new people

secondly this place is full of chicken, duck, turkey and many other type of bird lovers. when you explore you'll find all sorts of sections for every topic you can imagine

Thank you Kristyhall and turney, I hope to find enough info to prepare so the little things don't keel over when I bring them home.

Not even sure what I want to get yet, but we'll see.
I'm smitten with some of the photos I found of baby chickens, my mates are calling me a girl

Welcome to your nightmare, I think you're gonna like it, I think you're gonna feel you belong here

Love that song. But yea, we all have feather addictions, and we love them. They have better personalities, sense of humor, and more class than alot of people! And fun too.
