I’m not new to hens but have never had a rooster. Have 17 Buff Orpington and Barred Rock hens and am contemplating adding a 6 month old Bantam rooster. The hens are almost 2 years old. There are a couple hens that act like roosters, so I figure they need a guy to set them straight... so to speak. I appreciate any advice as to the pros and cons of this addition. Thanks.
