Hello, With the rise in cost of everything, I am looking at utilizing my 17 acers to help reduce our living expenses and having chickens is one way of doing it. I am new to keeping chickens so I will have some questions that is why I joined the group it seems pretty helpful and friendly.

I was thinking the same as you, so got 20 chicks from the local feed store a month ago. Lots of extra work, but interesting and healthy work. Look forward to seeing your flock.
