Hello all!
I am a suburban chicken keeper, with a 2 year old flock. 2 old hens and 3 new babies. I live in southern California, with pretty warm temperatures so luckily we do not need to worry about things like frost. We do live in an area with hawks and coyotes. I even found a coyote trying to break in to the coop when I woke up in the morning. The two "original" chickens I have are both Golden Sex Links. My new chicks are slightly more varied, one is a Buff Brahma and two are Americanas (I know this isn't an Ameraucana).
