(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first got chickens a few years ago while living in CT. I had six, sadly, since I lived in a condo at the time, the condo association forced me to give them away.
I fought them tooth and nail but lost. They went to the farmer that owned the local farm store, two of them went on to become show birds. 
I now have a small farm in Kingwood, WV, and have a giant chicken coop, and am raising chickens to my heart's content.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I now have 50 chickens.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have 20 white leghorns, 15 giant black australorpes, and my husband has 15 pedigree pheonixes.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I get several chicken magazines, and do a lot of reading online about how to care for my chickens.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have a huge garden, and enjoy the small farm we have immensely. I also make a lot of things, which I sell in my online shops. I sing, play guitar, keyboards, piano (yes, they're different) bass, and other instruments, writing my own music etc.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My name is Cynthia Freeman, I have a wonderful husband, Rapid, I have 7 cats (2 adults and 5 kittens) Stormy, PJ, Tuli, Tuxi, Token, Trigger, and Garfield, and a few ferals that I feed, two parakeets, Reet and Sunni, and a black moor goldfish I call Fishie.
I am a career musician, though I am currently taking time off, I've been professional for 15 years. I also run several online shops for the things I make.
My husband and I like to live off the land as much as we can.
