Hello, newbie here.

I don't presently have chickens. I've spent the past few years convincing my husband we should get a small flock, and he's now on board. Our town has a pretty restrictive chicken ordinance, and our lot is too small for chickens. Our town is planning to revisit the chicken ordinance (which is functionally a ban for most people on residential land), so I figured I should get to reading, learning and communing with other chicken people.

I'm also interested in good arguments to present to my Town Council, and lots of facts from unimpeachable sources that they can't overlook. I plan on becoming a fairly regular fixture at Council meetings, and l would love an infinite supply of facts to present to them on why they should amend the law.

Also, I don't actually know anyone who presently keeps chickens. I have a lot of questions.
