Hello All,
I've been quietly stalking this site for a few weeks looking at plans for coops & getting overwhelmed! There's so much to learn!

My husband and I have 6 sex links that are about 6 weeks old and getting ready to make the transition from the comforts of our mudroom to the coop. I'm looking for support and advice on all matters related to our girls, since we definitely lept before looking.

Hello, and welcome to BYC -- I am so glad you've joined us! Sounds like you are off to a great start, and you've come to the right place as we'll gladly "talk chicken" with you all day long (and then some, lol). Look forward to seeing you, and your flock, around the site!

Welcome!

Have you checked out the Learning Centre? Lots of good tips there: https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

welcome! Congrats on the chicks and good luck with the transition to the coop. At least it isn't snowing or raining anymore (I'm in the Hudson Valley).

P.S. we like pictures to swoon over lol
