Oh man..hugs for your loss! :hugs . We had to put down 2 older dogs last year, one at the first of the year, one towards the end. I know how you are feeling right now. :(. WELCOME to BYC. I hope you find as much enjoyment in the chickens as we do here. :)

Thanks for the hugs. She was a HUGE part of my life. I am finding that I really do enjoy my chickens.

Not anymore. She doesn't even have any eggs in her box. She seems to be a little better about getting out rather than us grabbing her and tossing her out of the box. Still stays in there a lot though.
