Hello everyone, my name is Yusuf. Im a small farmer trying to learn more about raising organic poultry. I started my farm with (2f + 1m) muscovy ducks and last week one he. Hatched 10eggs. i just imported 10dz backyard mix chicken hatching eggs. As of today, makes 4 days in the diy incubator.

You might want to think about moving all of the eggs closer together that way you can monitor the temperature easier.

How many calibrated thermometers do you have in there?

Hello Kiki good questions. No i havent figured out how to do that. I just take a average of the two digitals and the controller readings and figure im in the ball park. if i get a readings between 99.6 and 102 i just figure im good. My humidity fluxuates beween 45% and 53%. I have mist makers in there.

I dont know how to perform the salt test, ill look it up. But do tell me if you know. Thanks for the help.
