Welcome Dan, Im on the same position gave my 2 yr old grandaughter 4 chick whihhj im raising N doing all the work. Im retired n built a small coop 6x8 but added 2 more lol now im on a bigger job redoing an old old shed so i can separate the young from the older n wiser ladies who constantly are harassing them. Keep lookin for frrr pallets, wood, n whatever i can find to hurry n get it done. Nice folks on this site n they do get back to me with advise n help. Good luck with your new ladies. Vicki
