Hello fellow Flock mates! Quillfeather here coming to you from Old Town, Florida. I've been around the site a few times in the past, popping in to search for answers to questions when problems arise within the flock and figured it was finally time to actually be part of it all.
At the moment of this post (because yes, the flock will grow again come spring) we have a decent sized flock. At this point, I am looking to deal more with Silkies, but I need new blood brought in. I got a batch of eggs from a hatchery in Jacksonville who, at that time two years ago, admitted on their site that they didn't pay attention to parentage and just shoved birds together to get the most interesting colors. Just a quick note on the colors I list for the Silkies below, there are some I'm not 100% sure on. Roe-roe has the partridge coloring, but he also has streaks of vibrant orange, with an iridescent shine to his feathers that none of my others have. Revali also has the partridge colors but rather than just be brown and black, he has dark blue in places as well.
