My name is Natanya, as you may have surmised, and I just got 6 Silkie chicks shipped in from Cackle Hatchery. Alongside my roommates's 5 golden laced Sebrights I currently live with 11 baby chickens.
The artist Nambroth's work lead me to her BYC thread documenting the epic of the chicken known as Derperella, which I now consider to be a must-read thread.

I am an artist. I wish to create a career using my artistic ability, but unfortunately my skill and ambition outmatch my confidence. My favorite hobby is animal keeping. I have one cat, one goldfish, two corn snakes, two pigeons, one green tree frog, one quaker parrot, one budgie, and my most recent additions are 5 chickens.
I'm easily frightened off of forums, so please be gentle.
