After a few weeks of browsing through other people's posts and questions here, it occurred to me that I could join too! Just got our first chicks about a month ago and it's lots of fun. Mix of heritage breeds. We made the move to the country a year ago, with our new baby, and chickens were part of our dream. It's fun watching the baby with the chicks, and I'm quite pleased that she will have this experience growing up. So....very excited to be here and can't wait to learn from everybody's wisdom and experience!
