Hello, happy to be a new member! I have been a stalker of byc for about two years now, have raised Barred Plymouth Rocks and am hoping to have another go at it. We are working on building a chicken coop with a run and have gotten a lot of great ideas from byc!

If you'd like to know what others are doing in your neighborhood - go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum - then locate and post on your state thread.

We're hopefully finishing our coop this weekend as well. I've never had chickens, though my husband did when he was young. I stumbled upon BYC when researching how to take care of them. I love the forums!
