This hen was sold to me as a grey leghorn, but research on the net makes me think it is a silver gray dorking. It lays faint tan eggs. It has a light rust color chest. I do not seem to be able to find a grey leghorn picture. What do you think?

They definitely do not have red ears or five toes.

Do you mean "they" Dorkings? or is that a mis type and you meant "She", your hen? Cause Dorkings have five toes, red earlobes, white skin and are heavy bodied with short little legs. They're also white eggers. Since she doesn't lay white eggs I'm not sure exactly what she is, but she's not a Dorking, or a pure silver Leghorn.

donrae- I meant my hen ( actually have three of them). They also have something that looks like a rooster spur on their legs. I did some looking on other posts and found others the same kind of hen ( with the weird spur).
