I'm hoping there are some knowledgeable people on here to help with my questions. A few questions for now:

1) What age do pomeranian geese start breeding/ mating.

2) How do I know the sex of my geese(without checking genitals) I think I have a male and female.

3) At what age to muscovy ducks start breeding/ mating?(pretty sure we have 4 females & 4 males)

4) My geese, 1 has a single pounch, the other has a double pounch. Is this normal

Most geese begin breeding in their second spring. So if they were hatched in March of this year, for example, next spring, you should see breeding behavior.

Vent sexing them is probably the most accurate way to tell, but there are some visual clues. I find watching behavior to be easier for me than sexing from photographs.

Same as the geese. Muscovy are also seasonal layers.

The correct term is lobe. And Pomeranians should be single-lobed. Are you sure the geese in question are pure Pomeranian? Their markings are not very good. These aren't perfect, but they are closer to the SOP.

We have confirmed that "Hansel" is female. We think Gretel may be male. Hansel laid eggs last fall for a short period. We haven't had any since then. Hansel and Vaughn(our male Muscovy) like to walk the fence one on each side. Today Gretel didn't like that and got ahold of Vaughn's neck and pulled his head through the fence and attacked him. We haven't noticed any mating between Hansel and Gretel but they just turned 1 year in April.
Yes, Hansel is the photogenic one in my profile pic :D
