Slaughtered on Tuesday and placed in weak brine in fridge. No Marinade used. Trussed and wrapped each in a piece of cheap bacon. Grilled to just a bit rare (as I did not want them to dry out). The whole family enjoyed them, even my picky eater!

I'm ponderig a salt pork wrap with some blue cheese stuffing with walnut oil next.

Mine have not even hatched yet and we want to eat them all!

If I am not careful I will be bidding on my quail eggs before these have even hatched!

My teen daughter has eatten quail for three days straight for dinner. She loves it. So easy to process too which I love. I went from 6 cages of quail to two. I have a huge batch in bator also for eatting. Drool...

I have 102 quail due to hatch next week. Can't wait to try some on the grill. My hubby likes to wrap them in aluminum foil, surrounded by taters, carrots, and onions and slow cook on the grill. Yum-yum!

I'm going to be trying out some of mine here very soon. Maybe this weekend. I think on the grill first.
