Hmmmm at that size, she could train it to find Imp!!

Throw a little german shepherd in the mix for their tracking abilities?

Impy's son, Cash, bit me yesterday.

I inadvertently backed him into a corner. He shrieked, turned around and bit the*fire* outta my ankle. When I laughed at him and scooped him up, he started screaming like a little girl (hen). Had the entire farm in a uproar for a good thirty minutes with his squawking.

OH God is Cash developing "issues"??? I can picture that and it's funny.

I don't think so, yet. I think all three of the chickateers - Cash, Rowdy and TJ - just need some chickie valium while they try to find their place in the pecking order. I'm in the process of moving TJ in with the brahma hens to replace his daddy, but every time I force him to stay with them he freaks and cries so much I end up giving in and letting him go back to his original flock.

Not to mention every time one of the boys tries to mate they end up kicking their behinds handed to them by every hen within stomping distance.

Impy is my accidental turken roo, sexed as a pullet. As ugly as the day is long. Also, has a habit of woo'ing hens that don't belong to him.
I tried to hatch some eggs under a broody from my older flock, that was lead by my beautiful LF dark brahma roo Thor before he passed away:

When the chicks hatched I found out that my ugly buzzard (turken) roo Impy had been mating my brahma hens:

And the chicks came out looking like this:

Impys antics are legendary on BYC. A bunch of BYCers will probably hold a large and very touching memorial service for him the day I finally wring his naked neck.

He was around earlier. Just do what I do when he gets too quiet. Shoot off a PM to him and aggravate the tar outta him in private.
