Hey y'all. I'm home. By the time I drove home from the hospital - one in Texas this time

- it was too late to drive DSD #1 back to the hospital. I'm going to drive her down there in the morning and she can stay with her dad tomorrow. Then I'll take a day and so on and so forth until he is released. Someone has to stay here for the puppies, the chooks and the cats.

My car is not covered on insurance for anyone but me or DH to drive.

He's in the ICU. They are going to attempt to break up the clots using anticoagulants. They may do surgery to place a "filter" in the vein leading to the heart to prevent any of the remaining clots (they counted over 30 on the doppler exam) from traveling through the heart and on to the lungs.

I guess this explains why he's still been so short of breath and dizzy even though the cardiologist said his heart came thru the stent placement fine.

They apparently completely missed the clots at the heart hospital or the pneumonia hid the clots well. From what the doctors are telling us now this all started from the dang hospital in town wrapping his broken leg too tight.

I'll be off and on tonight.
