I'd type more but there's a pup trying to get in my lap and a turkey chick peeping loudly that I have to go investigate.

I sure was relieved to hear the updates Kat.

Well, DH is home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The doc forgot to write his discharge orders on his morning rounds, so when we didn't hear anything by about 5 PM I was frantic and didn't know what to do.
DSD #2 refused to come back up here to the farm to take the boys out again/lock the chickens up this evening, so I was about to drive home again.

A kind nurse took pity on me (us?) and called the doctor to get the orders written.
We got home about 10 PM.
Keith is feeling weak and still has to be on antibiotics for another week. Doc said he'll have to be on plavix for about a year until the stent is grafted well.
Keith is already talking about going back to work and says he has no plans to retire anytime soon.

Glad to hear that you both are home!!
Um...Keith better stay put for a bit, he's not going to be as strong as he was before, and doesn't he still have something broken that has to be rested as well??

*Give him time, Kat, men don't like to feel helpless at ANY time, just let the retirement thing roll off of your back. He wants to feel useful.*

I'm continuing to pray for you both.

Glad he's back home safe. Remember to take care of yourself too.
I agree with Baltimore that he is probably just wanting to feel useful. Maybe tell him that "you need him at home, so you can rest easier till the heart attack is a more distant memory". Or ask him for advice on anything you can, so he'll feel needed some.

So glad you guys are back home, and he really should rest, and take it easy. No sense it in rushing anything. Health comes first! Otherwise how would he enjoy retirement.

I would gladly take Atilla the giant. I already have two attilla's and what's one more.

Just tell them it's potty training camp, and Sophie will whip em into shape.
