It felt so good for both of us to wake up in our own bed this morning.
Jax is VERY happy to have his daddy home. He's been moping around.

The pneumonia probably saved DH's life. Had he not been having trouble breathing I probably wouldn't have taken him to the local ER. It's standard procedure at the hospital to draw blood to test the heart enzymes on a man DH's age that's having any chest pain. The cardiologist said they caught the heart attack just as it was starting, with the enzymes just starting to go up. They were able to get him in the cath. lab and place the stent quickly.

Hey Gritty..

Hows he feeling today?? I bet he slept better in his own bed....

So glad to hear that both of you are home. I've heard that a patient usually heals faster at home in their own environment. but, DH still needs to take it very easy and not rush into anything. Most time a relapse happens. We sure don't want that to happen. As for SD#2, she does really need to grow up a Lot. Stop depending on Daddy. Take care of yourself, too. You need to be as healthy as possible to take care of both of you.

He's feeling better, but weak.
A big problem we're having right now is with his leg. It's been two weeks since he broke it and it hasn't been tended to by an orthopedist yet. I'll be calling them to reschedule his appt. first thing in the morning.
The hospital in town - the one I wouldn't take a dead dog to, but he had to go to the night he injured his foot - wrapped the soft cast around it so tight, the entire lower half of his leg has turned black.

Sounds like our local hospital too.. The real name of it is Mary Lane, but all the locals call it Scary Lane...

Yikes...you gotta get that leg seen asap!!
