I have a question about grooming my Silkies feet. She recently stopped laying on her eggs and was following me to the barn for spilled horse feed. I noticed she has this claw on one foot that is almost an inch long. Can you cut those claws or will it hurt her?

I received some great information from this message board last year when I read of someone playing a radio loudly to scare away preditors. I'm happy to announce that REALLY works. Thanks.

Thanks! I was hoping it was kind of like cats & dogs. How about a Rooster's spur? A friend of mine has a rooster that's killed a hen because of his spurs. He's not a fighter, he's a sweet bird, it was just during mating he dug his spurs into her sides I guess. They are huge and sharp. Can we cut them back?

Thanks a lot. Do you have silkies? We have Americaunas too. They really can be babies, can't they?
