Hi Ocala, I use a large sifter to get the waste out. The trick is to keep the waste for awhile to make sure you're not throwing away baby mealworms.
On the wormman site they say their waste is good for your garden why, I really don't know.
When they turn into bugs I just put them in another container & let them do their thing.
Poison Ivy, that's funny, you think they would learn to keep their selves.. I think they just like to make other chics jealous.
