Gross egg. What could it be?

I found this in one of our nesting boxes this morning. Any ideas? I’m thinking maybe it was egg bound for awhile and finally came out? Or someone’s dye-sprayer went crazy?

All chickens seem healthy and accounted for!

Just looks like a over-pigmented egg, you’ll probably get a couple pale eggs over the next few eggs from that chicken

A must have for your poultry is a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it!

It was hard. I should have tried cracking it to see what was inside, but I was kind of freaked out, so I put it in our compost bin right away!
