That was actually pretty cool, LOL! Then again, I like odd and interesting things, and like to learn.

It also goes to show that, even us old fogies who have been seeing fresh farm eggs for decades can sometimes be surprised! Chickens do seem to be good at that!

UPDATE - Yesterday I got a soft shelled egg in the poop box. She normally lays everyday, didn't yesterday. Glad she's laying her odd eggs in the poop box & not in the nest, maybe she knows something's not right? No egg so far today ... Hoping her egg laying issues pass & not become an real problem.

Got a NORMAL egg in the nest box today Will continue to watch her but hoping it's not the start of reproductive issues
