Ground vs Wire

Quite a few of us with birds on the ground are in dry climates and/or have solid roofs on our runs.

Oh my goodness! I have my chicken, ducks, peafowl, geese on ground...their pens are OK for the most part but some pens get flooded. For example we got 5 inches last night! Not cool!

I HATE keeping birds on wire, it gives them foot sores, and i'm sure they hate it. I definately like ground, yes you need to de-worm them twice a year, but that is easy.

Yes I designed it myself except the roof part I had help with.

I so need a tape a tape measure.

I have 38 birds coturnix in there but they are from that hatchalong in September and are only 4 weeks old approx so i have to do some beer sexing on them too thin them out

the front box is L900mm x W900mm x about H450mm the back box is L900mm x W450mm H450mm

Its screwed together with butt joints and two screws

Wow!! I haven't seen that much water for along time.

Try Wazine, just mix it in the water.

If you look on the bottle it should say how much. Pumpkin seeds work also.

this is why mine are not on the ground I live on the ICW and if I get 1/4" of rain our ditches back up in the yard and come in with the tide when we get rain here the underpasses do not work I am about mile 2-3 on the ICW
