Groundhog Day!! February 2, 2009

I would venture to guess that in most areas, especially rural ag type areas, the groundhog is considered a "stinky rodent" to most.
Around here, they are most often seen dead on the side of the road.
But all in all, I still enjoy catching a glimpse of one peeking out over the tall weeds as I drive along.

That is a noose. He kept seeing groundhogs go into the barn and couldn't stop them from tunneling under the foundation. So he made a slip knot noose and put it over the opening. Then he sat on a stack of firewood for over an hour waiting for one of them to poke their head out. Voile! He got one! LOL
