I'd trap'em either live or steel and sell the furs. As well as my birds are protected, I still on occasions have racoons get to my birds. I set steel traps all around my pens year round.

I am sorry to hear of your losses Living in Aus, Mink is not something we have to deal with but I do hope you are able to sort the issue out.

I also hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

Sourland got to you first but, I thought the same thing., "trap them and sell the pelts." I doubt that the owners of the mink farm would bother to compensate you for your losses. Minks are nasty creatures.
