I forget.......when do chicks go to a grower? I'll be glad when I don't have to worry about my big girls getting into the medicated starter. They free range all day, and stay out of the broody area for the most part, but I still have to watch for this!
Also, my 4 week olds may eventually find thier way to the layer feed. I'm wondering.....when can they handle an occasional nibble at it without stress on thier kidneys?

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
