View attachment 1272325 Silver my EE is setting a bad example. Only a week old and she is already a escape artist. My little Millie Fluer is taking notes.

So I ziptied bookcase cubes together and made a top for tonight . I don’t like big squares but since it’s there I doubt she will fly at it. I have a bigger box that I will see if it will work tomorrow.

It doesn't take long for chicks to become escape artists. We always put a piece of farm fencing or chicken wire over the top of our brooder, not touching the heat lamp, of course.
