Growing Up: Easter Egger

I have a couple. Here's one @ a couple of days after bringing them home. She's however old she was when I got her from the feed store, + two days.

Now here are a few of my EEs at about 6-6.5wks.

I should be getting my new chicks the week of may 24th. We are getting 5 EE hens, 1 EE roo, 2 delaware hens, and 2 Buff Orpingtons. I will be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you

The lighter chick is a pullet, but the darker one ended up being a rooster. He was slow to feather, freindly at first but at about 8 weeks started showing all the girls who's boss. At about 10 weeks he started growing saddle feathers and crowing.

We had 4 brown birds in this year's brooder, and the darkest one turned out to be lightest when they got feathers. It was really funny.

I have 2, from MPC.
Here's Belle, at 2 and 3 days old.

Here she is at 10 weeks old. I hope she's a Belle, and not a Beau.... her comb is very dark pink compared to her sister's, although they are the same size.
