How many are in your incubator?Great fertility rate! Mine hatch on about two weeks. Good luck to both of us!
I have about two weeks to go for mine.I think 42? I have a few clear eggs and a quitter I need to toss though. Only 1 week to go! And my chicks are currently hatching under a broody hen… Just in time for triple digit temps next week.
Mama has a wild nest that she’s on?Mama went rogue. I don't know what she's got, but I can hear her. Meanwhile I have to go comfort Mia;Brodie won't let him anywhere near the keets or Numi, Mama's on the nest, and Mia's on his own knocking at the back door.
She keeps trying. Stayed out last night-1st night run was finished. She came back this afternoon, so she's locked in now. There are too many nosy predators right now for her to be off on her own for a month. Besides, Mia couldn't take it. He laid on the top step of patio door most of the day, saddest looking thing I ever did see. Then when I got her in, he had moved to the front door. I never saw a bird so ecstatic to see his mate!Mama has a wild nest that she’s on?
