Growing Up

My four golden comets our 1 and a half weeks now and, they are growing up so fast! They have feathered winds and I see neck feathers shooting out. I'm sad they are growing up but I'm excited for the eggs. It makes me sad to see them uncomfortable but it great to see them grow and mature.

They grow incredibly fast. How are your birds uncomfortable?

At this age, I used to call them "chicklings"

I have had a few Red Sex-Links too (or Golden Comets, if you prefer). They are fantastic layers, and have great personalities.

Growing up chicks is a very exciting and sad time. They grow up so fast, that's why it's sad. I hope you enjoy your feathered friends.
