Growth, hernia or tumor?? (Graphic Pic's)

Glad that Carol has chimed in.
I have not seen anything close to that before.
If you can, please keep us updated on how she's doing. I do feel like that may be something she will expel in time, if she does, photos of what it looks like after it all comes out would be helpful to me (us) and those what find the thread in the future.

That mass will likely be either absorbed once the prolapse retracts and resolves, or it will slough off and be pooped out.

But, this is only my humble guess from out here in two dimensional internet land. We will see as time passes. For now, the cause of the prolapse is the critical issue at hand, and that is likely a stuck egg.

Yes, I have seen such a thing attached to a prolapse. Don't mess with it other than cleansing it and keeping it moist with coconut oil or Manuka honey. Give a calcium tablet to help her clear the obstruction that is most likely causing the prolapse. https://www.backyardchickens.com/ar...ng-from-vent-prolapse-oh-my-what-to-do.76124/
I have a question, can I grind the calcium tablets to a paste to feed it to her? also how often do I give her a tablet and actually I gave one to my other two hens.

You can grind them up if you want to. I usually just pop the tablet right into the beak and let the hen swallow it.

It won't hurt to give extra Calcium to the other 2 for a couple of days.

Do you provide oyster shell free choice?
