I discovered this growth on the nose of one of my Plymouth Rocks. She's only 5/6 months old, not laying yet. She seems to be fine and happy and in good health otherwise.

From reading other threads am I correct in assuming she may have food stuck in there, and I simply need to remove it? What is the best way for me to do it? It is in both nostrils, Thanks

Thanks for your help @casportpony Her Choanal Slit is swollen and seems to be closed over, tried cleaning it out but it's hard and crusty, got out as much as I could for the time being, will try again as she seemed a little distressed.
Should I try and clean her Choanal Slit from inside her mouth?

Since he choanal slit has pus in it, it means her entire sinus cavity is full of it.

Any chance you can get her to a vet?
