growth on a hen

I have a year old ri red hen her right breast is the size of a small football, it feels like a growth of some sort, she otherwise looks normal and acts healthy running around and such does anyone know what it is and does she need med attn

Tumor? Maybe it's one that comes with Marek's, which is untreatable... Not sure, though. Good luck!

It`s probably an overstuffed crop. Hold the feed from her for a day and see if it goes down........Pop

could be her crop thats full, see if it comes down over night.

Thinking the same thing, you ought to see the size of my Brahma hens crop at the end of the day, it's huge but she is fine. so hopefully thats what it is..
