Growth on beak covering nostrils

The growths feel fleshy not hard and crusty.

Last summer she quit laying and started to just hang out by herself. She doesn't scratch or peck with any enthusiasm. She moves at a much slower pace. A lot of just standing in one place. She prefers to be hand fed but does eat from the feeder and drinks normally.
It does look fleshy instead of crusty to me too.
I would still lean toward it being cancer or some type of tumor growth, but I'm not a vet.
Inside of the beak looks a bit swollen, does she have any of those whites plaques down her throat too? The underside of the beak also looks bit necrotic.

Seeking vet care would be your best bet.

I agree, vet care would be good. This looks so much like another thread a few months ago. Many of us hoped it was canker or pox, but it was cancer. A vet might be able to help if they are familiar with chicken illnesses. Unfortunately many are not. Since the nostrils and inside of the beak are so obstructed, I would put her down and get a necropsy, so that you know what the illness was.
