We found this growth on our hen this morning. She is mouth-breathing, lethargic, and has a bad smell coming from her face. So far we haven't noticed any change in her eating/drinking habits or changes in her poop but we isolated her so we can keep a close eye on her. Does anyone know what this might be? Thank you!!

Does she have any lesions inside her beak too?

I see bubbles in her eye and some facial swelling too.
Likely respiratory disease. Could be Mycoplasma, but the foul odor is concerning for sure. Without testing it would be hard to know if MG or Infectious Coryza.
You can trying treating with an antibiotic like Tylosin to see if that helps. Clean out her eye(s) with saline and apply an eye ointment like Terramycin a couple of times a day too.

Thanks, everyone! There is some puss and bubbling in both her eyes now and she doesn't seem to be eating or drinking right now. We gave her some pain meds and are waiting to hear back from the vet. Thinking it's an infection, hoping we can treat it with a topical eye ointment. Will update when we know more! Thanks again, everyone!

Thank you! No lesions inside that we can see. Yes, we've seen some bubbling and puss in her eyes now too :( Will definitely try these suggestions. Thank you!!

Thank you!! We tried to wipe away some of the puss but it's either hardened too hard to gently clean up or there's a bit of a growth or swelling there. Is this something we should do if she has an infection or wait for it to clear up first?
This needs to be attended simultaneously.
