Growth on chick foot pad

On a 19 day old BO chick I found a brown growth on both foot pads and no it's not poo, I soaked and washed her feet. I clipped them off and the chick didn't jump (or blood), so there was no feeling in them. There is a cluster of little 'fingers' growing out of the pad, the other BO of the same age the pads look normal scales on the pad. My question has anyone had similar growths on a chick before and what did it look like (or issues) at hen age?

Research bumblefoot and see if you think that is what it is.

It's not bumblefoot, I know bumblefoot very well. This is a strange growth.

My chicken has this same thing on her foot. Did you ever find out what it was?
